STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - PRECAST - MEATH
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of precast
concrete products.
The position offered involves the design and detailing of precast
elements within the building structure.
You will be involved in dealing with Architects, Engineers and Site
personnel as part of the design process.
Review and monitor Clients design proposals and lead the design
process for the company from conceptual to final design approval
stage.
Review and manage construction / design / engineering related queries
on new and existing projects.
Provide engineering advice and technical knowhow both internally and
externally as required.
Be part of the management of the drawing office, to ensure these is
sufficient workflow to the project requirements and that the
manufacturing process has sufficient design information to ensure lean
manufacturing principles are maintained.
Assist the estimating department with tender proposals by offering
valued engineering concepts and proposals.
Attending meeting when required both in Ireland and the UK
REQUIREMENTS
Structural Engineering Degree Qualification, minimum of 5 years’
experience.
Knowledge of Autocad / Tekla / BIM will be necessary.
Understand layouts and drawings.
Experience of Structural Engineering Design of concrete structures is
desirable, preferably precast.
Knowledge of the relevant design codes and regulations.
Be capable of delivering projects on budget and within the allocated
time frame.
A high level of organisational ability, excellent communication skills
both verbal and written.
Energetic and ambitious for personal growth and development.
Excellent Interaction with design teams and internally.
